As of 2021 the station is in its 10th year of operation. In 2016 the CRTC granted its requests for an increase in wattage and frequency change from 92.9 to 101.1. The increased wattage and the change in frequency to 101.1 not only improved our signal to existing listeners but increased our coverage area. Our belief is that CICW FM will continue to make a difference in the lives of the local people and contribute to the economic and cultural sustainability of our community. At a time when many radio stations are reducing their local content, GRAND 101 broadcasts LOCAL news, weather, and Traffic reports. Local Radio for Centre Wellington and Wellington County.
