Our mission is to foster the creation, exhibition and appreciation of independent media arts. Anyone can become a member, take workshops, rent equipment, or take part in our events. Since 1976, we have helped members create video-based projects that represent the diversity, spirit and viewpoints of the people in our region. We believe art is essential for a culture to thrive. Ed Video is here to make art a reality. We do this by offering over 60 workshops a year, presenting two dozen gallery exhibitions, and by helping our members create more than 150 works of Canadian media art at the centre each year. Art matters here.
