Canada Business Directory is operated in Canada and handles personal information in line with PIPEDA. This page explains what we collect and why.

Business listings

Listings contain business contact details that were published publicly by the business or a directory it belongs to. Owners can claim, correct or remove a listing at any time.

Quote requests

When you request quotes we store your name, contact details and project description, and share them only with the businesses we ask to quote. We keep requests for 24 months, then delete them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It sets cookies and receives your IP address in truncated form. You can block it with any standard content blocker.

Email

Any commercial email we send identifies us and includes a working unsubscribe link, as required by CASL. Unsubscribe requests are honoured within 10 business days.
