About Canada Business Directory

Canada Business Directory brings together Canada’s local business directories — chambers of commerce, business improvement areas, economic development offices and community sites — into one searchable directory. It currently lists 36,181 businesses from 85 directories.

Where the data comes from

We read public member and business directories, respecting each site’s robots.txt and crawling slowly. Each listing links back to the directories it appears in. When the same business is listed in several places we combine the entries and keep the most complete details.

Corrections and removal

Business owners can claim their listing for free to correct it, or ask us to remove it. Listings that disappear from every source directory are marked as possibly closed and drop out of search engines.

Quotes and fees

When you request quotes through us we contact suitable local businesses for you. Any connection fee is shown as its own line next to the business’s price before you accept — never hidden in the price.
